About JKD/Thai Blend Kickboxing
Our Muay Thai program mixes the kickboxing from Muay Thai and Jeet Kune Do -- resulting in a unique and kickass style! Whether you're wanting to lose weight and get in shape or learn to defend yourself. This class is taught with beginner and experts in mind -- you'll learn something regardless of your experience. We train with contact in mind -- but we always train safe. We use focus mitts or "thai" pads or kicking shields to build confidence through controlled training. Afterwards, we build up your confidence in defense with proper techniques.
The Muay Thai Program
Our program is designed by Kru Tim Haun for the purposes of both self-defense and competition with your goals in mind. It's founded on basic skills and it's easy to pick up for people with no experience. Many of our students have had great results in losing weight and muscle toning. Additionally, both Sifu Ed and Kru Tim have competed in the ring or cage, ensuring what you're learning is tested and proven.
