Muay Thai Kickboxing
Muay Thai is a striking art developed around the "8 limb" principle -- a fighter has 8 limbs, or weapons, in which he can use. Two legs to kick with, two fists to punch with, to knees to knee with, and two elbows to slice with. These 8 components which most humans have led the Thais to develop their personification of violence and combat -- Muay Thai. Normal fought in a ring, the opponents clinch, punch, kick, knee and elbow their way to victory.
At MMAI, you'll received focused training to help develop the tools and attributes to become a 8 limbed monster -- either for competition or for self-defense. You start with attribute and technique training and move forward to pad and bag work. After a few months of training, you can spar with an opponent of your level to gauge where you are.
Muay Thai is an excellent workout and definitely recommended to those looking to kickbox or for just general fitness.
